Upcoming All-Inclusive Music Show to Benefit Boulder County – Colorado Hometown Weekly

Queer artists, interactive arts and entertainment, and drag performances come together in Lafayette this month to support Out Boulder County, a non-profit organization.

Starting at 6 p.m. on September 25, the event will take place at the Confluence Garage at 75 Waneka Parkway.

All profits from the show will be shared between the artists and the organization.

“Like every event in Boulder County, whether it’s our event or a collaboration with another organization or group, the message is always unity, community, to be there for one. others and support each other, ”said Alejandro Rodriguez, BIPOC and Spanish Access Coordinator. in Out Boulder County.

“I think an event like this has the potential to remind people that we are there for the community, we are there to provide support to the community. It’s time to come together, now more than ever.

Rodriguez said the funds raised will go to the organization’s BIPOC programs. There is a suggested donation of $ 10 at the door, but the event is free to the public.

Dave Heinrich, owner of Tier Two Live, co-organizer of the event, said he hopes to raise between $ 1,000 and $ 1,500.

“I think it would be really fun as an annual event,” said Heinrich. “I hope it will be well received by both the community and the artists. We really hope that we have a fun evening and that everyone has a good time.

The event will include musical performances by:

  • Joshua Day

There will also be special performances by Umami Goddess, Soña Rita and London Shanel.

This event is supported by the Commission des arts cultures Lafayette and Youth On Record.
