Scottish singer Joesef’s Edinburgh show canceled tonight after fear of Covid

Joesef, nominated for Scottish Album of the Year, had to postpone his concert in Edinburgh tonight.

The star was due to be tested for Covid and await PCR results after fearing he had come into contact with the virus.

The ‘Loverboy’ singer was scheduled to perform sold out at La Belle Angèle in the capital tonight, but withdrew from the show after coming into contact with someone who tested positive, meaning he had to wait a negative result.

Breaking the news on his Instagram, Joesef wrote: “Hello troops, the band and the team have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for covid.

“We are all waiting for the PCR results but we won’t have them in time for the Edinburgh show at La Belle Angèle tomorrow, but luckily it has been postponed until October 24th, so not long to wait, I hope that everything is fine and that we can get back to manchester for monday that’s fucking shit but that’s the world we live in now. hope you can understand. i will see you soon. joesef. “

Since that post, the rest of the crew and Joesef himself have tested negative, but the concert has been pushed back to a date in two weeks, on October 24, the Daily check-in reports.
