“Our musical projects started a long time ago when Fayez was only two years old. He was playing drums at that tender age, and that’s when I noticed his talent.
“I could tell him when to sing after a drum roll, and he would come in so perfectly, which is unusual for such a kid,” Mutungi said.
Mutungi added that it was at this age that his son started writing songs and composing melodies to his father’s beats.
“We are about to also make a video of one of his songs he made when he was only two years old because we were waiting for the perfect and appropriate moment,” a delighted Mutungi said.
Their daily routine when they wake up is to do vocal and piano exercises and make beats in the evenings after school.

Mutungi stressed that he doesn’t want to overwhelm his boy with so many instruments, despite playing drums at an early age.
As a father, Mutungi wants to have a full impact on his five-year-old’s life and has chosen homeschooling.
“I wanted him to be homeschooled so I could spend more time with him and have a direct impact on his life,” the caring dad said.
Mutungi, an artist, says they do everything together, including running, playing football, playing board games, building blocks and going to the movies.
He mentioned that his parenting journey was a bittersweet but mostly sweet experience as he is a believer.
“One thing that gives me hope is the fact that he (Fayez) understands God and justice. So everything he does has to be anchored on that foundation,” Mutungi, 26, noted.
His vision is to manage Fayez’s career as he continues to grow musically and spiritually towards success.
