Every MCU project he could appear in next

Warning: SPOILERS for Marvel’s Hawk Eye & Spider-Man: No Path Home.

After Hawk Eye episode 5, Central pivot is officially in the MCU, and there are a few Marvel projects where he could appear next. Since the end of Netflix Daredevil, those who watched the series begged several key players to be canonized in the MCU, including Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, as well as Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk. Now, after months of intense speculation and unsubstantiated leaks, Hawk Eye threw Fisk into the mix as a crime lord potentially pulling the strings backstage in New York City.

While he most often draws the wrath of Daredevil and Spider-Man, Kingpin has been a thorn in the side of many superheroes, including Captain America, Wolverine, Luke Cage, and many more. However, his actions have also been indirectly responsible for creating new heroes, and in the comics he’s inadvertently responsible for turning Maya Lopez into vigilante Echo. Even though portrayals on screen often show him as a New York crime boss, his businesses and aspirations go far beyond, as evidenced by his current role as New York mayor in the comics.

Kingpin is one of the most cunning enemies in all of Marvel comics, and his public face as a legitimate businessman makes it even more difficult to distinguish between his legitimate intentions and his criminal intentions. With his luck in having hidden agendas and secret plans in mind, it’s likely Marvel will consider using it in a few more MCU projects. Here are the upcoming MCU projects that could play a surprise role for Wilson Fisk.

Echo

Announced shortly before the character made his official debut in Hawk Eye episode 2, a Echo TV series are an incredibly safe bet on where we might see Wilson Fisk next. In the comics, Echo is Kingpin’s adopted daughter, whom he took in after arranging for her father’s execution in a double cross. Realizing that she has the power to mimic another person’s physical movements, Fisk began training her from a young age to be her personal assassin, and eventually sent her on a mission to kill Daredevil before Matt Murdock does not reveal the truth to him about the murder of his father. . Since then, Lopez has had a harsh and bitter vendetta against Wilson Fisk and has attempted to bring him down on several occasions as Echo and Ronin.

With Hawk Eye Introducing a deliberate combination of Maya Lopez, Wilson Fisk, and positioning Ronin as the killer of Maya’s father, it’s obvious the series is heading towards a conclusion in which Maya realizes she’s being played. This sets the perfect circumstances for Echo’s spinoff series, one that will more than likely feature Wilson Fisk as the main antagonist as the young vigilante seeks revenge.

Moon knight

Blood Knight Moon

The Kingpin has crossed paths with the Fist of Khonshu on several occasions in the past, and now with Fisk operating as New York’s mayor in the comics, it has been hinted that the two characters will face each other again in the next Reign of the devil crossover event. However, in live-action, Marc Spector will make his MCU debut in the 2022s. Moon knight Television series, played by Oscar Isaac. A character who commune with an ancient Egyptian god and struggle with dissociative identity disorder may not seem high on Kingpin’s threat radar, but Spector’s total dedication to the eradication of organized crime places them perfectly well. two characters in opposition to each other.

Peter Parker’s next Spider-Man trilogy

Spider-Man - No Way Home Producers Explain How They Convinced Former Stars To Return

Although Spider-Man: No Path Home is shattering box office records in theaters right now, it’s a bit difficult to see exactly what the path of the wall robot will look like moving forward. However, there has been a lot of speculation about what the next Spider-Man trilogy might contain, one that follows his exploits in college rather than high school. This would be a great opportunity for the MCU to give their Spider-Man movies a little darker feel and tackle the stories and villains they’ve avoided so far, and Kingpin would be the perfect character to play as. this change of tone.

Even before the MCU, Spider-Man and Kingpin go back a long way. In the Ultimate Comic Book Universe, Wilson Fisk was actually one of the first villains Spidey ever encountered. Fisk was even responsible for an assassination attempt on Aunt May’s life, an event that almost prompted Peter to kill him. The day after the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, The circumstances of Peter Parker’s life have never been more dire, and Kingpin is certainly well connected enough to continue to make Spider-Man’s life even worse.

Restarting Daredevil

Ever since the character’s beloved Netflix series was canceled in 2018, audiences have wanted the chance to see Matt Murdock onscreen again. Charlie Cox has been very open and adamant about wanting to return to character someday, and most recently Kevin Feige confirmed that audiences will be seeing Daredevil in the MCU sooner than they think, and indeed, Cox. appeared as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Path Home. All signs point to Marvel wanting to give Daredevil a reboot on TV or a film series, and none would be complete without the presence of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk.

Not only did Kingpin remain Daredevil’s greatest enemy for over 40 years, but D’Onofrio’s first performance as Fisk in Daredevil Season 1 helped elevate the show beyond just an entertaining superhero show. Seeing Cox and D’Onofrio share the screen again would not only be hugely entertaining for fans of both characters, but it would also bring back some of the glamor that made Netflix. daredevil feel like an event on its first outing.

Secret invasion

One property that does not appear openly linked to Kingpin’s criminal activity is the Secret invasion miniseries, but depending on how the MCU decides to approach the material, it could very well match its plans. In the comics, the Secret Invasion storyline occurs when an army of shapeshifting Skrulls invades Earth and assumes the identity of many of the heroes on the planet. The TV adaptation of Secret invasion is building up tremendous star power, and depending on the severity of the events of the series, it’s a safe bet that Wilson Fisk could find a way to manipulate the situation for his own ends. While it’s certainly exciting to see Kingpin become a major player in the universe again, the only thing more exciting than his return is the anticipation of seeing where he might reappear next. Hawk Eye.
